Buildings (architecture) are perhaps the most plentiful subject available to photographers. Most anywhere you go from your own home town to exotic cities in foreign lands, you'll find interesting buildings to photograph. Don't overlook the detail in the buildings: doors, windows, textured walls, rusty iron hinges. etc. I've used various lenses from wide angle for an overall shot to a longer lens for shooting from a distance. A tripod is not always necessary, but it helps. I like usingĀ a polarizing filter to darken the sky for a more dramatic image.
